January Luncheon
Join us, along with Abby Harper and Adam Saylor from CoxNext, as we kick off our 2023 luncheon on January 26th at Houligan's on International Speedway Blvd. in Daytona Beach.
AdFed Holiday Brew Bash
Throw on your best ugly sweater, grab a toy and join us!
Join us in partnership with FPRA on December 1st from 6-9pm for our holiday social! This event is open to both members and non-members. Bring an unopened, unwrapped toy for the OCL Toy Drive and get your first drink FREE! DJ Corey Morris will be rockin' the tunes an the Get n' Roasted food truck will be on site with food for purchase.
November Luncheon - All About Algorithms
We've teamed up with Florida Public Relations Association to talk All About Algorithms! Learn How to Enhance Your Organization's Social Media Presence presented by Amy Zengotita, Parks and Recreation Director, City of South Daytona.
Algorithms are complicated and seem overwhelming. Learn the algorithms for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, which will provide the background information to create effective posts. Find out about easy to use applications that help your social media posts. Identify tools that will assist you in the creations of posts. Understanding the relationship between the author of the content and the viewer.
Amy Zengotita serves as the Parks & Recreation Director for the City of South Daytona and she manages Communications for the City. Amy graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master's in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism. She specializes in social media and has presented for the past several years at the FRPA Conference and this past year spoke at the Arizona Parks and Recreation Conference.
Amy is currently a member of the Florida Recreation and Park Association Foundation Board of Trustees. In 2019, she was recognized by the Daytona Beach News-Journal as an outstanding young professional in their 40 under 40.

Trashy Yoga - New Smyrna Beach
Our 2021-2022 public service program, Trashy Yoga, aims to engage both personal wellness through yoga, and community wellness through beach and waterway cleanup. Trashy Yoga will take place four times this year throughout Volusia County. Each Trashy Yoga event will include checking in at a specific location, participating in a group yoga class, and taking the time to clean up a designated area. All marketing, advertising, and creative professionals, along with their friends and family, are welcome!
This month, Trashy Yoga is coming to New Smyrna Beach! Join us at The Flagler Tavern parking lot on Saturday, May 21st at 9:00 AM to sign up and participate!
